We offer private tuition to people of all ages, abilities and levels of vocal development. We teach various styles of music from classical, musical theatre, to contemporary, folk, pop and rock.

Private Instrumental Tuition

Instrumental lessons at SVAC

We offer private tuition to people of all ages, abilities and proficiency levels in the following instruments: Piano, Guitar, Clarinet, Saxophone & Flute.

Our highly trained team offer quality training in classical through to contemporary styles. Our teachers prepare students for A.M.E.B. and Trinity examinations, concerts and auditions.

Payments may be made by cash, cheque, eftpos or credit card and 10% discount is available for those who pay in ten week blocks.

Kids Group Classes

We offer a number of dynamic courses for kids aged from 6 – 17 years that operate during The N.S.W. public school term.

Manly Children's Choir (6–10 yrs)

Vocal technique, emphasis on group songs with some solos, classical to contemporary.

Spirit (14–17 yrs)

Vocal technique, solos and group repertoire, strong emphasis on harmony work.

Saturday Performance Group (6–8 yrs, 8-10 yrs and 11-15 yrs)

Vocal training, ensemble and solo work, music theatre, drama games and script work

Adult Group Classes

SVAC offers a number of courses for adults (18 YRS+) that run all – year round.

Purple Moon

Fun Adult Choir, styles ranging from jazz, folk, pop and rock.
Intermediate level, audition required.

Company of Singers

Beginners social choir, styles ranging from gospel to jazz and musical theatre.
No audition required.

Manly Mum's Choir (Dad's welcome!)

If you’re a mum (or dad) looking for a fun way to break up your day, then come join this casual choir!
Repertoire ranging from jazz to pop songs.
No audition required.

Holiday Programs

Come and Sing!

For the past four years the Sydney Vocal Arts Centre have been entertaining talented children from all over Sydney and further a field during the "Come and Sing" kids school holiday program!

So if your child is the next Hilary Duff or Guy Sebastian then what the Vocal Arts Centre is offering would be a great way for them to have fun, dance, and to expand their music skills.

The four fun–filled, jam-packed days include concentrated work on vocal technique, stage presentation, movement skills, self - awareness and confidence.

If your child loves to sing or dance up a storm this is a must – do for them during their holidays! Whether it be musical theatre or the latest pop music, the Sydney Vocal Arts Centre holiday programs are guaranteed to be a hit.
