References I have come to know Margi Coen and the choir from Sydney Vocal Arts Centre, ‘Out of the Blue’, over the past couple of years in my role as State Member for Manly. During this time I have come to be hugely impressed by the energy, talent and tremendous community impact the choir has had. They have tirelessly contributed to multiple community causes including Australia Day ceremonies, Anzac Day celebrations and local fundraising events. I have been struck by the undoubted talent of the group but also their interest in supporting all of these worthwhile causes. I know Margi has worked tirelessly with the choir and together with all the members should be commended for outstanding musical performance and the tremendous community commitment. I have no hesitation in recommending Out of the Blue for any event and proudly acknowledge them as a wonderful success in the Manly community.
